The Order of the Alamo is a founding organization PMO of the Fiesta® Commission

The Order was founded for the purpose of educating its members and the public generally in the history of the Independence of Texas and perpetuating the memory of the Battle of San Jacinto by having an annual ceremony in Bexar County, Texas.

Dates back to 1909, making it one of the oldest Fiesta Organizations.

Each year a Queen is elected from the membership.

Celebrates Texas Independence.

First opportunity to see the Queen, Princess, and Duchess gowns and trains.
